I broke course into 9 pieces and want to publish with Multi-SCO Packager in CP8, can I do that?

I have a course published originally in CP 6. Due to client bandwidth, I have broken it into 9 pieces and published each for SCORM 1.2, in an attempt to have all .swfs smaller than 1 MB each. I am trying to use Multi-SCORM Packager in CP 8 to reassemble the course, but when I try to insert the .swfs, I'm told: "This is not a learning interaction file." I did publish each piece for SCORM 1.2. Can anyone help me?

You must be confusing the SCORM Packager with the Aggregator.  The Aggregator would want to have SWFs.  But the SCORM Packager requires that each of your course modules are published as individual SCORM zips. Only then will you be able to bring them into the packager tool and bundle them up as a single Multi-SCO SCORM.
