New Captivate Not Updating to Complete on Apple Mobile Devices

Hi! We created a training activity (without a quiz) and loaded it to our LMS (Vector Solutions / Convergence). When we test on laptops, it works - including updating to complete when the completion requirement of viewing a specific number of slides is achieved. When we tested on iPads and iPhones, it works....except it doesn't update to complete. I have our vendor looking at it from their perspective, but I thought I would also check here to see if anyone has expreienced this...and if you have...how did you fix it? I've also been able to confirm that it does not track back to Complete on Android devices.

Thanks for your help!

    Don't know if it is related or not, but there is a similar problem here and Adobe has said there is a fix in the works.

    Hi,

    Thank you for sharing that thread. Unfortunately, I don't think it's the same issue as our trainings never show as complete. (I'd be all for having it give a message that it isn't complete, but in fact it truly is. :-))

    Through working with the LMS vendor, they believe they've narrowed it down to being an issue with their app as the training tracks back correctly when a laptop or desktop is used.

    Did you check the outpu on SCORM Cloud to find out whether the problem is with Captivate or with your LMS?

    @Lilybiri - Great call out. I just tested on SCORM Cloud on my laptop and phone. It tracked back as complete on both. That indicates to me there is something going on between the new Adobe Captivate and our LMS. The vendor is also looking into this, so hopefully, they find something. Thank you!

    I've had some issues with VectorSolutions courses not showing as complete as well. The course was able to be completed when I set the Success/Completion criteria to:

    • Incomplete -> Passed/Failed
    • Slide Views = number of total slides - 1

    I also changed the interaction data to Send Data on Every Slide and unchecked Never Send Resume Data/Escape Version and Session ID.

    Good luck!
