Scrolling text box interaction shows 'false' instead of the text I have pasted into it. Can anyone help?

I have a Captivate 7 project now updating in Captivate 8. I insert a scrolling text box interaction to display for the rest project and when I preview it the interaction shows 'false' instead of the text I have pasted into it.

Interaction has been updated couple of months ago, not the same anymore.

Did you define the associated variable? You can now control the display in

the interaction by changing the variable using an (advanced/shared) action.

Did you try to recreate it in 8?

I use an advanced action on buttons to show and hide the text box as part of a grouped item. This works fine if inserted into a project started in Captivate 8. It is only in projects created in 6 or 7 that I am having a problem.

have any impact on show/hiding. Can you post more details?
