Hi,

There is lots of chatter and worry in my team about the removal of support for flash in browsers.

Will my eLearnings that are published to run using flash be effected? Will i have to always publish in HTML5 format?

Also, will adobe publish a list of interactions/objects etc that arent supported by HTML5?

Thanks

Chris

Our team has republished in HTML5 just to be safe.  Within Captivate is the HTML Tracker that will review your projects in its CPTX form and list what interactions won't work in a published HTML project.I hope this helps some.   Susan Wright (Equilady) Remember, the mighty oak was just a nut that held its ground. http://www.equilady.com

Yes, you'll have to publish to HTML5.

For the non-supported items, you have the HTML5 Tracker in the Project menu. Have also a look at:

    OK great thank you.

Does this limit the interactions I can use? i.e. Ive use Rollover captions quite a lot in the past, as they are unsupported, will there be a HTML5 alternative?

Apologies if this is all things you have been asked before. Just getting my head round it.

No rollover items for HTML, you have to replace by click/tap to show/hide the items or you can use change state as well. This means there is no automatic disappearance which you had when rolling out for the rollover items, but you have to give an option to hide, or to change state again.
