Question

Using Captivate 2017, I created a freestanding Jeopardy interaction. When I publish is as SWF/HTML5, the object you need to click on to start, nor the grid with the questions display

Basically, when I play back the published interaction, it's a blank screen, so none of the objects - including the default object you click to start nor the grid with the questions display. But the audio I added can be heard.

Do you happen to have the eyeball checked for these items?

That would hide them until they are revealed by an action.

Make sure it is unchecked as shown.

Thanks, Stagprime, but the eyeball is unchecked.

Do you have items fading in?

Has the timeline possibly paused before that could happen?

Are you trying to view as SWF or as HTML5 at the moment?

Are you trying to view from a webserver or locally on your PC?
