Why can't I undock windows in the CP9 workspace like previous versions?

Is there a setting that locks the pods? Why does this feel like a downgrade versus an upgrade?

    Switch to Expert UI, by checking the 4th option under Preferences, General

    'undock...'. You will be able to create workspaces and move panels.

    God bless you Lilybiri! I was searching for this and passed right over it in Preferences. Who was the genius behind the decision to lock this basic function?

    The "genius" was likely product research.

    My guess is that Adobe observed that many users that were new to Captivate had issues with the dockable panels.

    Hence, they locked them down.
