A problem while opening adobe character animator

I installed adobe character animator program but when i clicked on the free character a box showed said “Character Animator.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.”
Please help me to fix it !

What happens when you close the program and try to open it again?

it opens the page where i choose the character but when i click on it the same thing happens but it doesn't tell me what's the problem

What version are you using? Also, does this happen with just that character or all characters?
