Adobe Illustrator file not Syncing with Character Animator

My Adobe Illustrator file (2020) is not syncing up with Adobe Character Animator (2020) (it did in the beginning but not anymore), what can I do?

I have made sure that "auto sync with artwork" is checked and the blue link also leads to the correct file.
