After Head tuner rigging head is not moving with my movements

After rigging and making 5 different head turns and rigging it, they work fine and as i move my head to right or left the head turner follows but before head turner where the character used to bring its head nearer as i moved closer to camera or back has stopped working so the only thing the camera picks up are my head turns to left and right but not the extra movements that i saw initially in my basic character. I have even tried giving the headturns triggers but to no avail.

Thanks in advance!

My guess: The Head Turner is one behavior and gets the camera feed.  Under each turn there is a separate "Head". The Face behavior has to be bound to each of those heads correctly - it is the behavior that makes the head bigger and smaller. I am wondering if it only bound to one of the profiles (or none). To check in the Face behavior properties, there is a "Views" section and a "Handles" section. If you expand the Views section, did it find all the views OK? Then under the Handles section can you expand Head - did it find a head per view? Could you provide a screen shot of these two expanded perhaps?

I am wondering if it either failed to find the heads until each profile, or it bound to a handle in the layer rather than the layer itself. (I am a bit murky here, but I think if it says .../Head:Head then it bound to a handle inside the head layer, whereas if it says ..../Head it bound to the layer itself. I am not sure what Photoshop does, but in Illustrator I vaguely remember when it bound to a handle on the layer (rather than tagging the layer itself) it could not do as much. Try tagging the layer rather than putting a handle on the layer in that case. But I also think Photoshop was a bit different, so I am not 100% sure to be honest - maybe look at what the sample puppets that work do here. But that is where I would focussing.)

Ok so i checked the views and it showed me all heads 6 of them total...in handles it had empty small boxes and nothing there...so i went back to rigging and tagged the handle that had neck before to head for each head turn. It worked! It moved a lot and i fixed that kind of with the settings in face behavior (still moving deattaches from the neck).. But the torso moved with the head before all this stiffness happened...Is there anyway i can maybe tilt the torso a bit too?...feels unnatural with the head moving while torso being so stifff

Also Thanks to you i checked the handles part!! that made me realise the tag was wrong somehow.

Hi,

In your screen shot, each view group of Head has a handle. Does it have any tags?

Can you check if the trigger for Head Turner you used is latched and not released?

Thanks.

They have tags like for nose or eyebrows etc on the head... as for the triggers they were all on latch.. With or without triggers character just doesnot move with my camera movement ..just flat right and left changing the head turns from quarter to quarter

ps. The heads had a neck tag to it, every head turn..removed those tags it still isnt working

If you use triggers, can you switch to/from all views (Left Quarter, Left, Right Quarter, Right)?

Is the problem happens only by using Camera input? If so, can you try “Set Rest Pause” in Camera & Microphone panel while your face is centered?

Can you check the value of Head Turner -> Sensitivity?

Thanks.
