All of puppets lean to one side

All of my puppets are upright but when I add Motion Library they slouch to one side and look like they are about to fall over. This tilting to one side is exxaggerated in any movements I add. I can adjust slightyly using Transform parameters but that has other unwanted implications. What am I missing here?

In the following examples the only change I made was adding Motion Library (2,3) and then changing the Motion in the dropdown list.
