Animating hands

I've set up my puppet with Arm IK and everything is working fine. But is there a way to alter the position of just the hands without moving the whole arm? I have a dragger on each hand. I want to be able to rotate the hands a bit without affecting the rest of the arm.   Thanks!

Hi Dave! Me again here to help! Again, you really haven't been specific enough for us to help you but I'm gonna try.

If you use the great tool adobe animate instead of character animate you'll be able to use a tool called frame picker.

There's this tool called frame picker and frame picker allows you to put many different poses of hands into a graphic symbol and then you can choose which hand that you want for that particular pose.

Here is a tutorial I found you on YouTube.

Happy animating!

You can try adding a transform behavior to the hand layer and keyframe the rotation value
