Assertation error

As soon as i try to import a character from Illustrator an error message pops up that says assertation error I have tried updating, reinstalling and creating new project files every other problem i have found like this is after they already have the character imported but my system wont even let me do that HELP !!!!!

    So this happens every time you import the illustrator file? Can you upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox and share it with me, either here or via DM?
