Audio Format From Premiere to CA

OK, first, I know this is me and not the software. But I still can't figure it out. Character Animator seems to not want to import an mp4 file, but I can't find a way in Premiere (where my audio originates) to export another sort of audio file, like aiff. I've been exporting from Premiere and then using a third party app to convert the file, but I know there's an easier way.

What am I doing wrong?

Martin

Was the audio created inside of Pr Pro, say with an audio track recording? If so, then an audio file is made automatically, usually a wav file. It is possible to export aiff, wav and mp3 files -- the choices are in the export settings. Also, mp4 is a video file format.

If you need any more details post here.

Whoops. I forgot to change the format in the export settings. Thanks.
