Audio too soft when exporting MP4

When I export the MP4, the audio is much softer than it should be. I am using all standard settings. What's the trick to getting Character Animator to export an MP4 with the right overall audio levels. The audio is from mp3's, and the recordings are fine, at normal levels. But when the scene is exported to MP4, the overall volume level of the video is about half of what it should be -- which I heard lowers your ranking on Google Search, by the way, which makes this doubly itrritating.

Perhaps try creating your audio in another app. That way you can have a little more control over everything rather than recording directly into Adobe Character Animator. We use Adobe Audition. It doesn't take much to learn. I created a tutorial here;

There are more tutorials there to help create audio and work with Character Animator.
The other way you could do it is to dynamically link your project to After Effects or Premiere Pro and boost the levels there before rendering out. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the ideas. I should have mentioned, my audio is created outside of Character Animator. I am importing it as an mp3. I've worked with the audio program (Mixcraft) for years without volume issues, although I will now experiment with increasing the levels further than usual before importing the mp3 into Character Animator. I notice there are also volume controls in Character Animator. I tried them once and they did not seem to make much of a difference, but I haven't yet fully investigated that, so I'll keep trying. When I get some time, I'll learn about Audition. Thanks again.

Yes good idea. Also, double check your computer speaker volume isn't turned down. No program should be changing the volume when you render (unless you set it to).
