Blink Discrepancy

I have a puppet that swaps and cycles through different Face layers, each with their own sets of eyes.

When Blinking for the default, it works great (THE EYEBALL MAINTAINS ITS STROKE)

However, when I do swap and cycle through face layers, I want to be able to blink as well.
As I've set it up, it blinks for the appropriate layers, except for one!

It blinks, but the EYEBALL DOES NOT MAINTAIN ITS STROKE.

There is no difference in tags or layer arrangement than the other layers...

Why is it doing this?

It is probably the position of the blink layer with respect to neighbors.

Blink hides the siblings and shows the blink layer instead. If the blink layer is above the outline stroke, it will hide it. If lower than the outline stroke, the outline will stay on top. If the outline stroke is a sibling of the blink layer, the blink will turn it off.

So posting a screen shot of the puppet hierarchy in rigging woudl help a lot here.

Yeah, it would be interesting to see the hierarchy (I think Alan's diagnosis here seems pretty likely) at least or the whole puppet if you want to send it (via a private message, if you prefer).
