Both pupils not moving - can't figure it out!

Hello,

I have other similar puppets and their pupils move fine, however with this particular puppet I cannot get the pupils to move. Each eye is it's own layer, they both have a +Right Pupil and +Left Pupil, and they both have their own ranges (Right Eyeball & Left Eyeball).

No matter what I do, I can't seem to get the pupils to respond to the camera, mouse, or keyboard input.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! I put a link below with access to the puppet as well as the .AI file that it links to. Thank you!

Hey Platty,

Thanks for the response. I did try that however it was unsuccessfful. I do have other puppets - even within the same project that also do not have the head, right eye, or left eye independent and the pupils are still moving just fine.

After another go, I just figured out my issue. I have other "heads" that I use to cycle between with a swap trigger. These heads also had their own independent pupils and so they were incorrectly being tagged instead of the main head's pupils that I wanted.

Thanks again for taking a look!

Hi Vin,

In examining your AI file I noticed that you do not have a "+" in front of the Head, Right Eye and Left Eye. You have not made these items independent. Make these changes and see what you get.

Be well fellow pupeteer - Platty
