Can I add text to Character Animator

Is there any way to add text to my scene or puppet in character animator? I know i can add it in AI and import it, but can i do it in CH?

You have to create a puppet like backgrounds. I use Illustrator to make sure the scale nicely if I do it.  There is no "Text" capabilities in CH itself (that I know of).

 

More often I use Premier Pro to stitch the final edit together, and add titles etc that way. Its easier.
