Can't Make New Project

I can't make a new project in Character Animator Version 4.0.  I get the message "Project cannot be saved inside another project." I also get this message when I try to create a new project from the home page. I contacted Adobe support and ended up with a work-around by copying a current project folder and renaming it. Problem is, I don't want to continue duplicating files that are not part of my project. Any help...or may I be so bold to ask...that a wonderful video tutorial on this would be AWESOME. Thanks in advance for whatever you decide to do.

When Ch creates a project called XXX, it actually creates a project folder and puts 3 things in that folder:

  • Ch Data folder
  • Ch Media folder
  • XXX.chproj

It sounds like you are trying to create a new project _inside_ one of those project folders. Instead try saving one level up in the folder hierarchy.
