Can't open eyes

I'm mystified by a problem wherby my puppet won't open his eyes in the beginning of the timeline but eventually keeps them open. I keep deleting things from the timeline in different places to try to figure out what's causing the eyes to close in the beginning and open at about 1 minute and 7 seconds. I've uploaded the entire scene to https://www.mediafire.com/folder/gulzatkzndis2/thePerformer+3. It's gigantic.

The idea of it is that I stop the timeline when I speak my part. I appreciate the help I always get on this forum.

I just experienced the same issue and the only workaround that seemed to solve it was to insert a few blank frames at the beginning and insert the same puppet over those frames. I copied the same behaviors on my starting puppet, along with auto blink, and its eyes blink right from the start. I have seen this in the past, so it's inconsistent, but the Adobe team should look into it.  At the same time, it would be great to easily insert or remove frames on the timeline wherever the playback head is located like traditional 2-D animation programs.

The eyes sometimes react to the camera in unexpected ways. You could instead try adding "AutoBlink" behavior to the head layer to keep the eyes blinking randomly . If that doesn't help, go to the eye gaze behavior and turn off Camera Input and use Keyboard Input instead.
