Can't open or save projects. "Bad Rope Operation"

Hey everyone. In both the normal and Beta version of Ch I get the error "Bad Rope Operation" Whenever i try to open or save a proect. Anyone know what this is or how to fix it? I'm really hoping al my characters aren't stuck in a glitch limbo!
