CAUTION: CA4.4 deletes progress ⚠

Question

Been learning Character animator for almost a year. Never had ta problem with saves.

Updated to 4,4. Performed with triggers, adjusted lipsync, etc etc

Saved a named project version just to be safe. Clicked on a previous named project version to test out the save. Clicked back on the new version and everything was gone. Visemes were gone, changes were gone. Takes were gone. The whole nine yards. Did everything to try and recover and it was all gone. The new saved version only listed the puppet. That's it.

Went back to version 4.2 and added new named project versions. All works well.

Just a heads up.

Sorry to hear this. We have no known bugs in this area, so we'd love to get to the bottom of it.

If you still have that project, we might be able to recover your work and figure out what happened. If you'd like us to try, do this: while Ch is not running, zip up the entire project folder and DM me a link to that zip file using dropbox or a service like wetransfer.com
