Ch Error: Internal error code: (36040884:256+17) attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)

Hi,

Can someone please help me with this error code please? When I open the CH project this error

message appear:

                           Error!

Internal error code: (36040884:256+17)

attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)

i created the artwork in adobe illustrator. But it would not let me open the file in Character animator.

Any sort of feed back would be greatly appreciated.
