Changing background images while recording a scene

Question

I really like the new background images included in the latest Beta release [v. 22.5 (build 13)].

I have a sequence with two blokes on a park bench, and would like to switch backgrounds between 10 or so of the outdoor images included, over 5 seconds whilst zooming in on these blokes.

When I try to do this "live" while recording it only accepts the last image selected.

Is there a way to do this?

Great beta question. No, you can't do this currently - those backgrounds are only single use and can't be changed/keyframed. If you want to switch, you would need to import images and manually add and change them in the timeline. It's a neat feature request though - I'll pass it along to the team.
