Character Animator Beta 5 crashes on start up Win 10 64bit

Question

Hi, Character Animator Beta 5 crashes ("Character Animator CC Beta has Stopped working") on every start up. It loads the project, then crashes. (I've tried this with multiple different sample files).

I'm not having any issues with After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

Win 10 64bit 32gigs ram

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 with latest drivers 378.92

I've tried re-installing Character Animator as well as re-installing graphics drivers but no change.

Sorry to hear that. Here are some other crashing/freezing threads that might help. Most of the time it does seem to be from a) something not being updated or b) some other app creating a conflict, like a webcam or microphone.
