Character animator '.chproj' file is saving as 0kb

Question

Hi, for some reason recently all my character animator projects have been saving as '0kb' projects. I am still able to work within them and open them, however I cannot share them with anyone as the file will not send due to being an empty file. All my previously saved projects on my computer have also turned into '0kb' files.

I wonder if there is a way to fix it. I have re-installed the app and it is up to date so I am not sure why this has suddenly happened.

Hi,A ".chproj" file does not contain anything. It is for the easy way to open the project and actual data are in "Ch Data" and "Ch Media" folders next to ".chproj" file. To share your project, try following steps.1) Copy all media files used in that project by File menu -> Copy Media Files into Project Folder.2) Go to Finder/Explore and zip entire project folder (the parent folder contains ".chproj" file, "Ch Data", and "Ch Media" folders).3) Share that zip file.
