I am a app developer. I am trying to make promo video for my app. Is it possible to use animated character inside after effects?

Yes it works great in fact! You can import the actual Character Animator file into After Effects or Premiere, and then just select the scene you want to import. Then when you go back to Photoshop to update your character or back to Character Animator to update your animation -- when you save - then BOOM - it updates in After Effects and/or Premiere.

Hope that helps!
