Character Animator not opening Windows 10

Hi there! So i just upgraded my system from Windows 7 to Windows 10, primarily to be able to take advantage of character animator. I have downloaded the latest version, and it wont open from the Creative Cloud app, and when I attempt to open it manually, I get this error message: The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). I attempted to download previous versions, only to receive the same message. 

I am running Windows 10 64 bit

160 GB Virtual Memory
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 card
