Character Animator Performance

Question

Does anyone have any information on CA performance? Adobe only posts the minimum requirements, which basically just state the need for OpenGL support.

I'm wondering if this software is mostly ALU performance dependent and therefore benefits from a good CPU or FPU performance dependent and will actually utilize a GPU.

I can only speak for my system which works very well. A bit slow on Rendering, but otherwise great. I have an eight core processor, 500GB of solid state drive and 32 GB of memory. I also have a laptop which is only a dual core, standard HD, and 8 GB of memory. CH performs very poorly on that system. I hope this helps. Be well.
