Character Animator video problems in Premiere

Question

For some reason, After running Media Encoder with my scene from CA. It shows the Video scene in Premiere in Project panel.. It plays the video with no sound. Yet I'm unable to place the video in the timeline. It shows I can bring the audio over. It happens with the update and older version.

What OS? I cannot get sound to work on a Mac laptop in Prem Pro. Its there, the sound meter jumps up and down, but no sound comes out of speakers or headset. Nobody in Premier forums was able to suggest a solution that worked (but lots of people reported sound problems over the years). Just wondering if the same problem - that is, there is sound, but Prem Pro is just not connecting with the speakers/headphones for some reason.
