Other suggestions if helpful...

Some people have had luck uninstalling then reinstalling the software. Some other program might have updated a library dependency or corrupted something ch depends on (just a guess) - a clean install let's the installer check all the dependencies again and clean things up.

Also make sure you have the latest version of all adobe products together. The share some libraries i think so all need to be compatible versions - at least there have been reports of problems with media encoder and dynamic link when using different versions of the software packages.

Hi,
Sorry to hear you have a trouble.
Could you provide more information of your settings;
Q1) What is OS and version?
Q2) What is Character Animator version?
Q3) Can you launch CH while holding alt/option key down (so that you can bypass opening the last project you are working on)?
Q4) What is a "blank white character animator icon"? Can you share the screenshot?

Thanks.

Could you please submit a crash report when you are asked?

Please mentioned that crash is reported in community channel (copy/paste your issues, and url).

Does this start with CH 3.3.1? Could you run older version of CH before?

If you have not tried, can you uninstall CH 3.3.1 and re-install it?

Thank you,

keiko
