Character will not move in record mode.

Hi I just started teaching character animator yesterday, I have been playing with it for a while now. We have an issue when recording the characters movements. We can move a hand and it works well but as soon as we hit the record button the character is frozen. Have tried with camera and mic off but no real change. Any ideas? Disabled recording except dragger, Thank you for any possible answers. This message pops up and we go through and set all appropriate settings but still no success (does this have anything with it not working?). Everything works on my station, but not for my students.
