Hi,
Is there a limit to the number of items you can have in the control panel

Dunno - I have never heard of a limit - I think it more gets awkward to use.

 

You might consider getting a MIDI device instead if too many controls. There are MIDI foot pedals, button boards etc. You can cause triggers etc to fire from those MIDI events.
