Dangle hair physics stuttering

Hi guys, I've been using my puppet for a while now and it has not had any issues with the dangle physics, however recently I've noticed the hair massively jittering. I've tried re-rigging, changing the mesh shape and restarting my PC however nothing seems to work. Is this a problem in version 3?

What version? I thought there was a post in the last few days saying something was *fixed* recently in that area? You might read the other last 10 threads or so here in the forums
