Does Ch recognize Ai effects like feathered shapes?

I'm trying to have my character blush when they're embarrassed (Circle layers that are feathered, and cycled in Ch).

They do not appear in Character animator feathered, they appear as solid circles. I've tried rasterizing and other options, but nothing allows them to appear in Ch as they appear in Ai...

Why is this?? This doesn't makes sense.
