Question

Duplicating Matching Arm Animations

Hello, I am trying to match arm movements in the Record timeline. I can get the arm movements perfect for my right arm, but I can't match the movements easy enough in my left without a ton of trial and error. Is there anyway to copy and mirror the animation from one arm to the other, to get them to sync up?

My goal is to have a character wave his arms, but together in the same movements. Thank you!

To get both arms to wave together I used blends. I wrote a response on this recently which you can try and find for more detail, but basically record the hands in one end of the wave and extend the takes out long. Then move the hands to the other end of the wave and do a second recording. Then use blends to blend between the two takes. You can then control the timing perfectly and get them in sync. (Sorry, just heading to bed, no time to find the other thread just now. But I included some screenshots from memory. It was in the last week or so.)

There's no current way to copy and paste the Dragger recording from one Draggable handle to another.

If you have a touchscreen (e.g., on Windows), using two fingers to drag each handle separately but in unison is one way.
