dynamic link not working with after effects

whenever i try to dynamic  link my .proj file it gives the following error in after effects. im running after effects 2019 and character animator 2020.

Dynamic linking does not work across different release levels of products I believe. So you need to upgrade (or downgrade) to the same level fir both tools.
