Hi there, i´m just trying to export a sequenz as h264. but in media encoder, directly startet from character animator export, just gives out an error!

"could not read from the source. Please check if it has moved or deleted."

is it because i use the trial version? (beta6)

or what went wrong? can anybody help me please?

Hey

I have this same probelm and tried for hours to resolve this

Placed both files in same folder, HD.

Opening up from AME neither works.

Installed Character Animator and AME today on  a PC from Creative Cloud.

All my .chproj are zero bytes though, but this seems the normal, the other folders have files in (ch data, media)

Are you using the Beta version of Ch or AME? If so, you have to also use the Beta version of both (or the non-Beta version of both). What version of each are you using?

Yes, zero-sized .chproj files are normal.

What steps are you doing exactly?

I was having the same problem. What finally fixed it is I installed After Effects. Since then I've been able to export it to AME and Premere no problem.

Hi! Yes it worked! I opened the AME and then it has worked!

Thanks a lot for your help...

So you're trying the File > Export > Video Via Adopbe Media Encoder route?

Does it work if you instead just open up AME and import the .chproj file from there?

Are your file(s) on an external hard drive or cloud-backed folder? If so, does moving them onto the desktop locally help at all?

one question more: does CA support german language? i think it does not?

Yes it should! I think you can set your language preferences in your general Creative Cloud settings if I remember correctly, and it should pass through to whatever apps your download...
