Exporting

hi. i am facing a problem with exporting my project file as a video . whenever i tried to export via adobe media encoder ,it keeps asking me to install media encoder despite it already being installed on to my computer. i've gone a head and tried to add it to the media encoder queue directly but it still tells me that the file cannot be opened. i could really use some help with this. thanks
