Question

Eye Trouble with puppet

I am working on a puppet and have managed to get the default set of eyes to work and am trying to add another set of eyes to be able to convey more emotion. I am using top and bottom eyelids instead of a blink state. The new eyes that I am working on are supposed to convey anger so I have the bottom lids slanted a bit. When put into character animator I get no response from the eyelids as well as the pupils. I am hoping somebody could enlighten me to whatever mistake I am making. Attached I have put an image of the eyes I am trying to make work as well as the layers.

I can't tell if you have the different eyes set up as swap sets or not, which seems to be your goal. In your case, you would select "Right Eye"/"Left Eye" and choose "Create Swap Set" which would create triggers for the layers within the eye layer. Feel free to upload your puppet using a file-sharing service like Drop Box or Google Drive if you need someone to take a look at it.

So in CA, I have the swap set developed. The problem that I am having is that the eyes just remain static. the eyelids and pupils don't move. The default eyes work perfectly fine but this new set just remains completely static and don't work at all.
