Eye Warping On It's Own

I reopened a finished file after about 3 weeks. And the left eye began to warp as I moved my head. (The camera tracking my face.) It appears only the left eye is warping. The right eye seems fine.. It almost returns to round when I stop. After a while, it begins to warp on it's own like a muscle tick.

The AI file has not been altered or moved. The CA file has not been changed. I literally just opened it. I rechecked all the tags, handles, settings, etc. They seem to be correct and just as I left them. I don't see any new, out-of-place handles. I viewed it with the mesh on. It looks cool but doesn't help narrow down the problem. I turned off the "Eye Gaze" button and it warped permanently until I turned it back on.

The eyes are not indpendent and part of the Head. (Note: Character is single unit — head, torso, legs all one object. "Head" layer is separate from "Body" layer. "Head" layer contains Eyes, Eyebrows, and Mouths. ) The left eye also warps during playback of previoulsy recorded scene. All the other parts of the puppet work fine live and during playback.

I have used this character twice before without incident. I don't want to place blame but glitches have been occurring since the latest AI update. Cool your jets, AI guys! Once a year updates is fine with me. :0 )

I have included screen shots from the Character Animator below. So, any anwsers or suggestions for this occurrrence?

perhaps
I think it's because the eye and pupil layers are not marked with crown marks.

If you share the puppet with me via GoogleDrive, Dropbox, etc., I will take a closer look.

In doing so, please be careful to set access rights.

Through experimenting with various settings (insert evil scientist laugh here) I found if I turned off "Eye Gaze" the eye warping disappeared. The puppet still functions properly as it was programmed to with the "Eye Gaze" off.

The crown you referred to (making eyes independent) was not required for previous uses of the puppet. I used it twice before with no eye problem. If it was needed, wouldn't both eyes be warping?

Anyway, I have uploaded the puppet named Happy Birthday Charlie to CC folder Character Aniamtor for you and others to examine. Along with image of puppet and current settings. Thanks for the suggestion.
