Question

Faster Cycling for Blinks

I am currently learning how to cycle layers for smoother blinks (and hopefully for squinting later). The fastest it will go is 1 frame per layer, even tho I've tried to decimate that (0.5, .001, etc) it still seems to be at the same rate. This makes my character's blinks very slow and unnatural.

Any guidance would be much appreciated!

1 is the fastest it goes. What's your scene FPS, and are you able to bump that up higher?

I usually do 4-6 frames of blinking at 24fps and it looks good to me. Simons the Fox from the Cycle Layers video has that I think: Keyboard Triggers & Cycle Layers (Adobe Character Animator Tutorial) - YouTube
