First person view?

Hi there, is it possible to create first person view that would see puppets hands? I would appreciate more info on how to do this efficiently. Thanks.

One possible way is to build a puppet with just a body (I've made puppets with just heads and no bodies, so the other must be possible as well) and position it so that the body is out of frame and just the hands are visible.
