Getting black screen on scene playback

Last night I was updating a puppet PSD. I deleted 2 layers in that PSD and Adobe Animator just started glitching. I began getting path error messages etc ... which made absolutely no sense to me.

After restarting the program, and my computer, I tried to reopen the file and scene. Still wouldn't work. Now the problem is, none of the scenes in that file are properly showing, even though they're using different puppets. All I get is playback with a black screen.

I even went back in the file history to before the change was made and still nothing.

Please help.
