Hair Dangle

Hi everyone, I'm having problems getting the Hair Back my character to dangle. There are a few sublayers — none of which seems to be different, meaning if you disable the top Hair Back and disable the bottom Hair layers, it disables the same thing. I have applied the dangles to the top layer and moved the origin to her forehead. I'm also confused because each sublayer has another orgin. Regardless which orgin I move, it doesn't light up green. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 🙂 - David

Have you tried making "hair back" layer independent (crowned) by checking this?

Hi! Yes, I have. I didn't help. The hair became detached from the head. 😕😕

You may want to check out a working rig with a similar setup, like Chloe from the home screen:

In particular, check the following:

  • The back hair layer is independent
  • The origin of the back hair layer is where you want to attach
  • The "Attach Style" of the layer is set to "Weld," not "Free"
