Having a character sit on the floor with a swap set but the head does not follow.

Hi everyone. I'm new to this and have my character working pretty well but I want to hot key a trigger so the chracter sits on the floor (body level change) in a meditation position. My problem is the standing head stays in place and disconects from the meditation body when I press the hot key.

I'm sure I'm missing something basic to make the head follow.
