How does Character Animator perform on newer MacBook Pro models?

Just wanted to ask if anyone has any experience using Character Animator on the recent Macbook Pro models - specifically the basic 13" and 16" 2020 models. Any input at all would be useful.

Would it be a viable option for doing professional work on the go, without it siginficantly slowing down the process in comparison to working on a desktop?
