How to recover work from a corrupted file from Character animator?

Question

So my computer for some raeason shut down and restarted back up in the middle of doing work in Character animator.

I have been working on this file for 2 days, and now I try to re-open the file it says its "corrupted" and won't open.

Is there a way I can get this work back?

Very possibly. I work on the Character Animator team and if you can zip up the repo.noindex folder from the project and send me a download link in a direct message (make sure you close the project before zipping the folder), I can take a look and see what I can do. Usually corrupted loose reference errors are recoverable if the project database is not also damaged.
