I am Finding software for animation!

This is the character animator forums, so I will limit my response to that. Character animator is 2d animation software, not 3D. Toy Story etc are 3D. 2d is more like the simpsons. It can still look good and be fun to watch, but it's different.

I think of character animator like you draw your artwork on a sheet of rubber, and the software can stretch it in different ways to move arms, legs etc. You can also swap bits of the picture, Eg to swap in different mouth positions.

So if you want 3D, this is the wrong place. And 3D is a lot more work.
