Hello all. My issue is I can't open downloaded PSD puppet files in photoshop. When i do i get an error, which I'll post a picture of below. However, the example puppets work just fine in opening in photoshop. I've tried some file converters for the puppets but even the online converters say it'snot a supported file format. I'm curious how to open these files in photoshop, thanks! This issue is on windows btw

I'm very new to the software and just trying to get started using a blank downloaded template. I eventually have a goal of drawing stuff, scanning it, and making some fun puppet stuff for youtube lol. Thanks for the help!

The .puppet files are in character animator format, not photoshop. You import them using character animator. They include the artwork and rigging instructions.

(They are in fact zip files - if you change the file extension to .zip you can peek inside and probably find the .psd or .ai file to extract.)
