I cannot open the file in the Project panel

I haven't used CA in about 8 months or so. Right now I am having a problem putting a puppet from Photoshop in Chracter Animator. All I've been able to do is bring a backgound into CA. Every time I try to put a puppet into the Project panel only the folder holding the puppet goes in and then I cna't open the folder. What gives?

Thank you for asking. But, I must confess, I became so frustrated with it I threw everything away and started again from the beginning. Upon doing the re-do I discovered that the issue had to do with how I imported them to begin with.

I'm a little unclear about where you're getting stuck. Is it when you're importing the puppet or when you're adding it to the scene?
